Introduction
Working with Spalding County’s spring semester internship program in 2024 was a pleasure. Spalding County Public Works gave me the opportunity to apply my graphic design skills to real-life projects during my internship. Through my work on various design tasks, including Web design and brochures, I improved my project management and social media analysis skills. Further, I gained an understanding of government working procedures and how visual communication plays a crucial role in effective communication.
The supervisor at my workplace provided me with the opportunity to contribute to various marketing projects. These included the annual report project timeline and monthly marketing report. Additionally, I honed my graphic design skills and assisted with social media analysis, further enhancing my understanding of effective communication strategies in the digital age. In general, I have enjoyed my time at Spalding County incredibly, and I have found it tremendously rewarding.
